Great Bike
First, I am a senior citizen who has never owned an ebike before and in fact have only had one other bicycle in my adult life. So, I have no way to compare the Eahora bike to any other bike. Therefore, this review will be about what I like and didn’t like as an amateur biker. The cost was $799 after a $100 discount. The $799 including shipping and taxes. Pretty awesome deal, I think. I ordered my XC100 ebike on 4 June and received it on 17 June. I thought that was very reasonable shipping time for a huge box with a bike. The bike arrived without any damage and seemed to be packed reasonably well. Assembly was not difficult even for someone who had never assemble a bike before. However, I would highly recommend using the video on the Eahora website as the instructions that come with the bike and not very good. I viewed the video using my phone and was able to stop and start as each step progressed in the video. Once assemble, I took a 5-minute ride just to make sure there were no problems. Everything worked fine. The bike rides well but I don’t like the seat very much. I will most likely replace the seat with a wider and softer seat. I was pleasantly surprised how quick the bike accelerated. The 350-watt motor and 48 volt battery took me (5’10” and 200 lbs) to 22 mph very quickly.
