But is it right for YOU?
Let me start by saying that riding this "E-bike" brings me pure, unadulterated joy. The speed, comfort, handling, and power are all fantastic and it is everything that I would want... in a motorcycle.
Between my wife and I, we have 11 Ebikes and I almost never pick this one to take out when we go for a ride. There are two main reasons for this:
1. My wife neither has nor wants an Ebike capable of keeping up with this monster
2. We almost never do the type of riding that this thing absolutely excels at and there is always a better option
We mainly ride a reasonably well-maintained offroad trail with a small dirt park and a few sections of tight, cutback turns. If we aren't riding that, our normal paved trail is curvy, windy, and has a lot of short but steep climbs and descents. I have an E-MTB that I adore taking on the offroad trail and a nimble little cruiser Ebike that provides great comfort while enjoying the paved trail. The Romeo Pro II would perform reasonably well on either, but would be less fun than the other options. I also have a full suspension AWD fat tire Ebike that is set up in an enduro configuration that I would take over the Romeo Pro II. I would even take my cargo Ebike on either of these before the Romeo.
It seems like I am being negative, but I'm not. I adore this thing and it fulfills every promise made in the advertising. I am trying to convey to potential buyers that this is absolutely a niche product. What I feel this bike would be amazing for…
